The Training Effect

Be mindful of the training effect. Educate your athlete. Exercise is dose dependant, for exercises to work, you have to do them.
Be mindful of other training considerations and how they might impact the athletes capacity to adapt.
Be mindful of how much rest your athlete is getting. Are they getting enough sleep, good nutrition, etc. How full is their stress bucket? Have they been up watching the world cup all week? Playing video games? on Grinder, Tinder? Practicing the banjo? Ask the question, especially if things aren’t changing as quickly as you’d expect. Rest plays a huge role in all of this.
